首先CNN 根本没有任何道歉的意思，而是告诉各位去看老卡的意思，而老卡说的是：“And the one thing I regret was that some Chinese citizens in China and Chinese-Americans in this country felt like maybe I was insulting them. And that was never my intention. And I am sorry for that…”

任何稍通英文的人都知道老卡说的是“我感到遗憾的是有些中国人和有些华裔美国人竟然觉得我可能是在侮辱他们，那根本不是我的企图，为此我真感到惋惜。”

海明律师在和记者谈话时提到“遗憾”和“道歉”，根本是误读信件或蒙骗国人。
