Solar sector's problem is more complicated, it depends on the products they make and the materials they use.

Based on my limited knowledge in the sector (and bad experience of the experiments at home :-), the biggest problem this sector is facing is the supply shortage of solar silicon, similar to the high corn price is costing the ethanol sector.

Companies like ENER and FSLR use the thin film semiconductor technology, which doesn't rely on solar silicon.

I think we have to look through each company to find out more details.
